"I photographed this group of beautiful people In August 2022, at a dear friend's rooftop in New York. Working with Charlie Lemindu and Roxanne Danset, we developed a concept to translate a diverse range of bodies into an abstract gradient figure. I remember I couldn't actually see anything while shooting this image; the sun was blinding, and the heat and wind were so distracting that I had to shoot with pure intuition. After a while, the sun went down – and the final image revealed itself as a precious surprise."
