"This photograph is from Constructed Landscapes, an ongoing series which consists of three volumes to date. The work stems from an archive of ‘failed’ images that were shot across different locations. Reconfigured by collaging and montaging medium format negatives, the images aim to transform a specific place – initially loaded with personal meaning, memories and connotations – into a utopian space of greater universality."
