“This picture was taken at a particularly happy moment: a friend’s surprise birthday party in a the South of France. I live in Brazil, so when I popped up at the party, it was a surprise within a surprise for him!
I’m particularly connected to nature – both in life and in my photographic work. It makes sense, therefore, that of all the pictures I took that summer, this one, showing natural elements, might be the one that best translates the joyful feeling of those days: of reconnecting with the friends I love and miss.”
