"In 2022, I began a project exploring the social dynamics of markets in Casablanca, Marseille, and Brussels. The work examines how taste shapes market exchanges, using the market as a metaphor for my interactions with bureaucracy and local communities. While observing these spaces, I came across a quiet moment in a flower market. The vendor was taking a break amidst the usual rush—men leaving work in the bustling city of Casablanca, hurrying home with a rose in one hand and their briefcases in the other, small gestures of affection for their loved ones."
