"This is a scanned detail from my artist book The Spell. It is a set of 100 screen prints in different shades of pink, each with an added clipped image from my archive. The images often depict common household activities, as well as stranger things that form a distraction from daily tasks. The work is intended as an incantation for a housewife, hence the title The Spell. Is it the woman who is under spell, or is it the woman who casts the spell to gain control?"
