Tiziana's Hand, 2017
Print size: 210 x 297 mm
'For me photography is not only a means of expression, but also a starting point for creative research. Many objects photographed in my images are temporary spatial structures, installations and different artistic interventions on the environment or the surface of the human body. In this particular photograph you see my dear friends Tiziana’s hand. At that time we shared a small studio together in Amsterdam and she was making new sculpture. It got stuffed with styrofoam bubbles and everything got covered by it because of accrued electrical charge. I was fascinated how theres white dots got attached to her hand and became almost like an extension of her.'
