'Meriam has lived in a refugee camp for over six years after she had to leave her city of Aleppo for the violence. Over the years, she has gathered a veritable flower oasis around her. She especially likes the white rose. The young flowers remind her of a little baby who looks at you, smiling in the morning when you appear above his crib. Meriam can no longer live without her flowers. They give her hope for a better future.'
