“This photograph was taken inland of the Suriname river. We had been hiking through the jungle whilst learning about the different plant species that are found there, and what practical functions they serve – whether as medicine or food. The plant I captured grabbed my attention because of all the light it caught in quite a covered area of the jungle.”
