"In the town of Du’an, and in villages across the scenic province of Guangxi, I experienced some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. Here, I continued my exploration of masculinity, with a story of male friendship and the diversity of Asian beauty.
All the boys I met there were of Yao and Zhuang ethnicity, which is exclusive to the region. Removed from the influences of the big city, these boys had an innocence that felt untarnished by the social pressures that most teenagers experience."
