"The Broke Boys are five boys who live and pursue their dreams together. Lacking a traditional family, they found unconditional brotherhood, security and love in one another. Over the last few years, the BB family has steadily become a well-known community in Cape Town. Together with their peers they DJ, throw parties, and produce and design clothing.
This images is part of the Broke Boys series, an ongoing documentary project photographed over the course of five years on the fringes of Cape Town.”
