“As I go through images from my personal archive, I started to work with cutting and transparency tools in the computer, transforming my memories into imaginary landscapes. In For the Radical, the reference to a real place is lost, giving space to a sense of fantasy and allowing the work to question the future of the image – and of photography more broadly. Adding digital colour marks over old photographs from my photo archive, the result is a composition of manipulated imagery.”
