"I took this photograph in Hakone on a road trip through Japan in 2023. It was made during the beginning of a period which I now know would become the most intense period of grief and loss in my personal life. Later, I found out that in Japanese flower language, the Nippon Daisy symbolises purity and new beginnings. Hopefully, the proceeds of this photograph can bring something of that which it symbolises to the kids of Palestine & Lebanon."
