“In the 50s, the austere architectural designs of Balenciaga defined fashion. Then, in 1968, the couture house closed. In 2000 it was revived by designer Nicolas Ghesquière. We photographed this first collection on the streets of New York with Christy Turlington for Nova Magazine. Dick – the other half of the work’s title – is the make-up artist Dick Page.”
