"A person is pictured in an alleyway, struggling to lift off their shirt, revealing their back. The image recalls a saying in Vietnamese: 'vạch áo cho người xem lưng', meaning 'to show your bare back to strangers', which refers to the supposed idiocy of being truthful. The image is part of my series As You Grow Older (2022-2025), which probes at on homecoming and reconciliation with the past."
